Hi! I'm Zachary.
Gnotion (nō-shən) is a portmanteau made from the combination of gnosis—knowledge based on personal experience or perception—and notion, an inclination.
I have over five years of experience as a graphic designer, visual artist, and writer. My clients are small business owners and community-focused nonprofit organizations in the Portland area. Having lived in Portland for 10 years, I’ve learned that the city is defined by the unique businesses and nonprofits in its nearly 100 neighborhoods.
I enjoy helping my clients to visually define their brands and to communicate their messages in a way that is true to them and their audiences. I also believe that design is instrumental in the process of educating, helping, and inspiring the public.
